Refund policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

If a paid plan isn't right for you, you can get your money back. Payments for Finance Ascent are processed by our reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders and issues refunds on our behalf.

Full refund within 14 days

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment. That covers your first payment and every renewal, on monthly, yearly and Cohort plans alike. You don't have to give a reason, and it doesn't matter how much you've played.

How to ask

  • Email support@financeascent.app from the address you used at checkout, or include your order number (it's in your receipt).
  • Or contact Paddle directly through the link in your receipt email, or at paddle.net.

We'll approve eligible requests within 5 working days. Paddle returns the money to your original payment method, and depending on your bank it usually arrives within 5 to 10 working days after that. Once a refund is issued, the paid plan for that period ends.

After 14 days

After 14 days we don't give partial refunds for the rest of a billing period. You can cancel at any time, though, and nothing else will be charged. You keep paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for.

We'll always refund, whenever it happens:

  • a duplicate charge or a billing mistake;
  • a charge after you had already cancelled;
  • a long outage on our side that left you unable to use what you paid for.

Cancelling

Use the "manage subscription" link in your Paddle receipt email, or email us and we'll cancel it for you. Cancelling stops future renewals. It doesn't refund the current period on its own, so if you're still within 14 days, ask for a refund as well.

Your legal rights

EU consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases. This policy gives you at least that, including when you've already started using paid features. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
